Promote Your Event with Social Media
Social media is fast becoming the only way to promote your event and/or drive traffic to your venue. LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter all have event capabilities. This keynote address gets down to the details of planning and marketing your event using primarily free Internet resources.
Participants will learn how to:
- Create a strategy
- Determine the 5 W’s
- Use traditional marketing (press releases)
- Set up online event
- Promote to online communities
- Created a Twitter #hashtag
- Upload video/photos during event
Who should attend: Business owners, managers, marketing representatives, non-profit managers, event planners. Minimum 10 and no maximum number of attendees.
Length of Session: 45 minute keynote address
Speaker Requirements: None. However, if WiFi, projector and screen are available, we can visit the online sites and walk through examples. Otherwise handouts with screen prints are provided.
